Felix is a solid, well-behaved and RARE half Cleveland Bay Gelding. He’s seen a little bit of everything so far and has the disposition and athletic ability to move into a variety of specialties if you wish.

“Felix was born and raised here on our farm. He’s a strong young gelding with good bone weighing in around 1,500 lbs. Felix has a current Coggins, is up to date on worming, is 100% sound and an easy keeper. He loads well in the trailer and comes to the mounting block for easy mounting.

Felix has been ridden by my younger siblings and can accommodate a less experienced rider. That said, he has enough zip for someone who wants to push him. He’s been ridden both western and English and has been hitched in a carriage. Felix is patient for hitching and is traffic safe.

Under saddle, Felix knows his leads, canters nice circles and will move off your leg. He neck reins, backs and will lie down on cue. We have played with jumping him and think he has potential for foxhunting. This summer, we took him to the mountains in Wyoming and trail rode him extensively. Felix will handle all types of terrain well. He will ride alone or in a group.
